This is the last week of this training cycle. Many of you are planning to attack a sheep hunt in the coming weeks. As we get into the seasons, it will be vital for you to manage your training volume around your hunts. If you’re a pro, you might be entering survival mode. Know that you’ve built enough of a base to carry you through the rest of summer and fall. You can get back to building in January.
If you’re a rec hunter with a couple of gnarly trips planned from now to December then you might want to hit a few gym days between hunts. It’s important to take an individual approach to this as everyone is different.
