If you pay attention to our post labels, you’ll notice a change this week.
We have concluded our In-Season training block and will now start a lengthy post-season/off-season training cycle. This training will be heavily influenced by the CrossFit method, so much so that we will even follow the classic 3 on, 1 off training schedule.
Our goals within this block will be to stay active over the next few months and build a solid base of general physical preparedness. The idea of being prepared for the unknown and unknowable is a tenant of the CrossFit training method and that will be our primary goal – staying ready.
My hope with this style of training is that the novelty will keep you all on board and engaged through the winter months. With the breadth of exercises and workout styles we’re going to use, you can jump in on any day of the program and won’t have to worry about having missed something.
We are always looking to improve our programming, so if you followed along with us last year, we’d love to hear how things played out for you with your hunts this year. More information means more opportunity to improve the training we are delivering to you.
