I hope you are all starting to realize the benefits of the hard training you have done. Yesterday should have been a good test hitting a longer distance but at a more moderate difficulty. Every Sunday we’ll keep varying the effort and intensity and you’ll have a very good idea of where your fitness lies going into the hunting season.
Today is a lighter day with some maintenance strength and easy movements. When I say easy movements, I do NOT mean easy workouts. This workout will still be challenging but utilizes movements that are very low stress on the body. Low stress means primarily slower and concentric-focused contractions.

3 sets, moderate-heavy across:
6-8 reps back squat @20X1
90-seconds rest between sets
*Use a weight that feels like an 8-10 rep max for all 3 sets

60-seconds cardio machine
50-feet forward bear crawl
50-feet backward bear crawl
60-seconds alternating box step-ups
50-feet right arm bottoms up kettlebell carry
50-feet left arm bottoms up kettlebell carry
