Recovery day. Monday I spoke briefly about the important of recovery in tougher periods of training. Today is an active recovery day where you should engage in an activity that helps promote recovery. Stretching, walking, breath work, massage or other treatment all make a huge difference. If you don’t have time to focus on your body then focus on your preparation. Check your gear, check your maps, get to know your territory. You can never be too prepared.
30-60 minutes walk or hike with no weight, easy terrain
