The guy that starts complaining about whatever sore body part is holding him back within thirty minutes of leaving the trailhead. Every year.
The guy that shows up for a hunt wearing the latest and greatest ultralight gear but spent zero time training in the off-season.
The guy who knows he’s out of shape and constantly jokes about his waistline and lack of discipline instead of doing something about it.
And worst of all, the guy that says no. I can’t. I can’t pack any more meat. I can’t cross that valley. I can’t push for another summit or saddle. I can’t. You get the point.
NO ONE wants to be that guy.
I don’t care what lies you tell yourself. I don’t care what excuses you come up with. I don’t care how much or how little money you make. I don’t care how much or how little time you have.
Don’t be that guy.
There are no excuses. Why?
Because we are providing you with a full, year-round training program for FREE. Because we’ve taken the guesswork out of WHAT to do and WHEN to do it.
Because as long as you can find a $10-$30 gym membership near your house, we’ve got the rest covered.
Because even if you can’t find a gym close to your house, you can save the money you would have spent on some slick as goose shit app or program that claims to be built for backcountry hunters but is really just re-packaged CrossFit workouts and buy some equipment instead.
Wherever you live. Whatever your story. You can be prepared. And not be that guy.
Will you be able to do every single training session in the program? Maybe not. But some or most is a hell of a lot more and a hell of a lot better than doing nothing.
And better than waiting until you’re three months out from your hunt and deciding it’s time to “get in shape”.
